I love how from this angle it looks like lovers in an intimate embrace, but in actuality this statue is the “rape” of Persephone. We must remember to look beyond what we are given and a little research never hurt.
I seriously never can get over the fact that this is marble. Everytime I see it I cannot help being amazed.
